The Power of Words
Words are a powerful thing that are usually overlooked but the way we describe ourselves, our choices, our life, and our desires are defined by them. It is our words that can either build us up or signal handedly tear us down. Our thoughts directly influence what we manifest into our life or some cases do not, therefore we really should think about what words we want describing our life and what energy we welcome in.
I am big believer that if we can change our wording eventually we can change our thoughts. I do this by creating a mantra to help me work through what is bringing negative energy into my life or where I need a little bit of help to build my confidence.
If you haven’t heard of Mantras before, they are short, positive and inspiring phrases that carry a healing vibration, that can help to transform your mindset. Mantra’s help to create more positive thinking and association which helps to empower you to step in to what you desire.
I struggle a lot with the with the feeling that I am not enough, in looks, in smarts, compared to my friends and in life in general. I have also found that over the past few years since I had few very big changes happen in my life, I have had a very negative outlook on my life and feel like bad things are constantly happening to me and that even though I have done everything ‘right’ in life and been the ‘good’ person I have not been rewarded for it.
Using journaling and a few courses, I realized that even when bad things were not happening, my mindset was still shifted into this negative perspective which was affecting my everyday life. To help with this i have been using mantras to have a more positive outlook which is helping me to manifest the life I want and step into the next version of me.
My Mantra’s:
I am me and that is enough in all ways
Good things always happen for me.
I am allowed to dream bigger
I am safe, I am supported, I am guided.
Here is how you can create your own mantra:
Step 1: What do you desire?
Step 2: What is holding you back? How do you feel? How do you speak to yourself? Do you have any negative association using certain words?
Step 3: How do you want to feel? What do you want to invite into your life?
Step 4: Select a phrase that empowers you and helps to eliminate negative thoughts
